A lot of upcoming Android based mobile phones will be available in the market pretty soon. Some of these well connected phones will sport a user interface that has been enhanced to provide a better user experience. Of the several planned UI enhancements I’ve seen on the web so far, one of them is really sleek and stands out.Motorola is the most recent mobile phone manufacturer to hint on a new user interface for an Android cell phone. According to the article at Boy Genius Report, the Motorola UI would be something similar to the Palm Pre WebOS experience. The Motorola UI, being called “Blur”, is a little bit blurry right now with details on how it looks.

The other mobile phone manufacturer, HTC, has this video taken by Crunchgear. The video below shows the HTC Hero sporting the sliding and slipping UI from HTC.

The third Android UI is from Sony Ericsson and which is probably the coolest I’ve seen so far. The video from Boy Genius Report of the new Rachael UI are gorgeous. The upcoming Android based Sony Ericsson mobile phone is the connected phone to watch so far. The renders from Boy Genius of the the Rachael mobile phone are also great.

Here are some screenshots of the Android based Rachael’s modified User Interface. The one on the left is your email list and the one on the right is your twitter. Presentation of the two types of messages are consistently the same making for a better user experience. From the video, you will also see the same thing for connecting to your Facebook account.

Even the home screen looks good with the default Android pull-up button getting replace with four quick access icons:

Android based mobile phones from Sony Ericsson are the best so far I’ve seen. And if Sony Ericsson is just starting with the Xperia X1, I pretty excited what the Android based Xperia X3 would come out like. What do you think?
