Apple continues impressive growth
Based on Apple’s recent release of its financial report for the fourth quarter 2009 fiscal year ending in Sept, the Cupertino based company continues to experience growth in spite of the current global crisis. It has posted a $9.87 billion revenu with a profit of $1.67 billion. In comparison its year ago quarter revenue is $7.9.
The iPhone™ performed well with 7.4 million iPhones being sold in the quarter, representing seven percent unit growth compared to a year ago. Apple also sold 3.05 million Macintosh® computers during the quarter, representing a 17 percent unit increase compared to same quarter last year. Even though 10.2 million iPods sold during the quarter an eight percent unit decline from the year-ago quarter.
