The popular notetaking mobile app, Evernote, gets an update for the Android. Evernote is a mobile app, that provides a free service that lets you create audio notes, text notes, image snapshots and even upload files. The service also offers a premium / paid version which allows you to upload any type of file.

Notes can be organized by grouping them into different notebooks. When creating the notes, you can assign topic tags to the notes that allow you to easily search through all your notes on your mobile phone. You can even share your notes with other people by emailing the note.
The new Evernote for Android, which is version 1.2, now has the following updates:
- Notes encrypted on your desktop can be decrypted and viewed
- Evernote uses the Android notifications to alert you when note uploads complete
- Improved camera support
- Improved geo-tagging capabilities (note: to enable geo-tagging make sure that your location preferences are active on both the phone and within Evernote)
- Numerous bug fixes and improvements
You can get the upgrade via the Android Market using your mobile phone.
