T-Mobile Sidekick is being discontinued
One of the mobile phone hardware design that I love is the Sidekick LX 2009. I’m a fan of it’s sleek design. I was sad when Danger got acquired by Microsoft and the platform just sort of slowly started it’s demise. Today T-Mobile announced that it is pulling the Sidekick from it’s list of mobile phone offerings starting July 2 according to the Phonescoop site.

I hope it’s not totally the end of the line for the Sidekick line of mobile phones and that T-Mobile would put out a better, more sleeker phone than the Sidekick LX 2009. I don’t think that I’d see it being available in the Philippines but I hope someone creates a similarly designed phone that maybe would run Android or Meego. Or more possibly Microsoft would think of creating one running Windows Mobile 7 — how about it Microsoft?
