Blackberry 6 sneak peak video
The Blackberry is currently the most widely used mobile phone by business people because of it’s great messaging features. It is also slowly becoming a must have cell phone for the teen generation because of it’s messaging features and teenagers simply love to send SMS. But RIM, the makers of Blackberry, isn’t going to stop on its tracks. If fact they’re full blast into developing the next iteration of their BlackBerry platform — version 6.
Everyone at BlackBerry seems to be very excited with the features of the upcoming version that they’ve just released a video. In addition to the new fluid user interface, the video shows off a few new applications and features in BlackBerry 6 that are designed to provide users with a mobile experience that is fun and approachable, yet extremely powerful.
One of the things I’m pretty excited about the upcoming BlackBerry 6 is the new BlackBerry Browser that uses WebKit — an opensource web browser that is currently being used by majority of the mobile web browsers in different mobile platforms. BlackBerry’s web browser is also supporting the W3C widget standard that will allow developers to create mobile apps using the standard HTML/CSS/Javascript technology.
Another is BlackBerry’s integration of social messaging features that is bound to be popular not only to business types but also to other people especially teenagers.
