Nokia C6 firmware finds its way into the 5800 Symbian phone
Nokia has been hard at work on improving it’s Symbian mobile platform. The recent release of the Nokia C6 smartphone has made a connected phone even more affordable to the masses. The Nokia C6 which retails for a little over $200 without any carrier subsidies have basically the same specs as the Nokia N97 mini sans the large capacity internal memory and higher price.
The Nokia C6 is already widely available including the Philippines. I happen to have a Nokia 5800 XpressMusic which also has the same processor as the Nokia C6. And guess what? This morning I read an article from Engadget showing the video below of what looks like a Nokia 5800 XpressMusic mobile phone running the firmware of the just released Nokia C6. It’s pretty if I can install that nice version of the Symbian firmware on my 5800.
