About

The mobile phone is the computer, the computer is the mobile phone.

Mobile phones and computers are changing the way we communicate. With the vast improvements in computer miniaturization, we are now experiencing a drift in the way we define a phone. I have witness it changed from a simple device that allows us to perform voice communications to an all around communications device to a pocket computer that we use everyday.

We are seeing the line between a computer and a cellphone slowly diminishing as each year passes. Now when we talk about mobile phones, we talk about devices that we also use to listen to music, watch movies, surf the web, perform email and text messages, read the news, research for work and school papers, play games and even send twitter updates to our twitter accounts. These are things that are usually related to desktop computing tasks.

Connected Phone

I love the mobility that a connected phone offers. I can access the Internet whereever I go. I don’t have to sit down in an office or in my home to get email, surf the web, access my favorite social networks, browse the web or even update my blog.

All I need is a mobile phone with an unlimited data plan, to get connected whenever I want.

This state of technology has been around for quite some time. What is changing is the type of mobile phone or should I say connected phone that I get to use.

This site is all about the mobile phone and it’s evolution to become the basic computer that everyone use for voice, email, text, twitter, facebook, games, video, photos, web browsing, notetaking, payments… the list goes on.
