Google updates gmail and calendar for iPhone and Android

I’ve just read an announcement that Google has made some changes to its user interface for the iPhone and Android mobile phones. The changes should make it easier for these mobile phone users to access gmail from their mobile phone. A new “floaty bar” feature has also been introduced for Gmail that lets the user access common functions in just one click.

With the new Calendar, it makes it easier to edit or respond to an event using your mobile phone even if you are currently offline. Switching between Gmail and Calendar is also easier with the new links at the top.
