Although the Nokia 5800xm had some glitches during its start, Nokia has been doing good shipping out a lot of those 5800 XpressMusic mobile phones. To date there should be about 4 million units out there give or take. Current estimates posted at unwiredview is saying that Nokia is currenlty doing more than 1 million 5800xm a month.
According to Nokia, there was initial problems of meeting the demand for the 5800 XpressMusic mobile phone but they have address this already. One of the appeal of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic mobile phone is the price point. Features included are touchscreen (multi-touch is even possible as demoed by Jamie in his game Space Dancer), 8GB microSD card, HSDPA/3G, wifi, 360×640 display, music player, 30fps video, autofocus camera plus accessories normally found in Nokia’s high end phones.

Remember the rotary dialer program for the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic mobile phone? It was actually created by Jamie Fuller, a coder from UK who also loves 3D. Well in another one of his feats, he created in software what others say is impossible for a resistive touchscreen such as those found in the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic — multi-touch capabilities.
